A spoiled princess who only worries about her unruly red hair and her romantic interest....until that fateful night.......
Akatsuki no yona is a typical shoujo and fantasy anime and manga. Here we have Yona, seemingly weak and spoiled ex-princess who undergoes journey to find and gather the four legendary dragons, while fleeing for her life. Her cousin Su-won, who is also her love interest kills her father, the king and tried to also kill Yona. Luckily, Yona's (and Su-won's) childhood friend and also a general, Hak protects and her together they flee the castle. Embarking on a journey to gather the four dragons, who have powers that can protect Yona and bring about change.
The animation is fluid, and the story is faithful to the manga. The anime is nearing its end so for those who wants to know what happens, stick to manga.
While it is a shoujo manga, romance is not really developing here, until the later chapters when
Kinda like Fushigi yugi, where both protagonists follow a legend to gather their warriors for their own cause.
